I don’t know how I missed this, but this looks quite insane. From the demented mind of Noboru Iguchi, the crazy fucker who directed The Machine Girl and Karate Robo Zaborgar, comes Dead Sushi, a tale of revenge, redemption, and killer sushi. A mad researcher has developed a formula that turns sushi into murderous monsters. He unleashes his deadly creations on an unsuspecting rural town. Their only hope lies with Keiko (played by professional ass kicker Rina Takeda), the daughter of a sushi master who also just happens to be a martial art expert.

The bad news is that we all missed it in theaters. The good news is that it’s coming to DVD and Blu-ray on January 22. I have a feeling there’s a sushi bad movie night sometime in my future!
