Batman is happening RIGHT NOW! And I won’t be seeing it until after work which makes me a little sad. I miss the days of hitting every midnight showing ever. I love going to the theater. I think it’s the absolute best way to see a movie.

Don’t spoil it for anyone until at least a month has gone by. I figure after a month, those who were going to see it will have seen it and those who haven’t seen it yet aren’t the kind of people who give a shit about spoilers.

Yup, it’s been a good year for us comic nerds!

    About the Batman premiere–I just read about the Colorado shooting. It’s so horrible. I’m so sorry. I couldn’t believe it when I read it. I hope the wounded are okay. Why must there be a needless shooting every year?! People just wanted to enjoy this much-awaited movie–what the fuck is wrong??? The freak is interestingly not being branded a “terrorist” or anything probably because he’s white, but what he did was terrorism.

    For the record… see Dark Knight Rises. It was kinda amazing. And yes I’m using dramatic understatement here.

    I’m NOT using dramatic understatement for this one though: BANE WAS FUCKING SCARY.
