No one correctly guessed Kane’s belt inspiration yet so I’ll just spill the beans. Kane’s belt is based on Hikaru Ichijyo’s belt from Macross or as us old enough to remember when anime was called “Japanimation,” Rick Hunter from Robotech. I’m sure if it was in color it would have been much easier to spot.
