Kamen Rider Henshin A Go-Go

By now it should be clear that I’m a gigantic Kamen Rider fan. So I nearly messed my pants when I saw this video. It’s every Kamen Rider’s henshin sequence from Kuuga to Decade and it’s all kinds of epic goodness. My favorite rider show is still Kamen Rider Faiz and my favorite Rider is Kick Hopper. I really wish the Hoppers were used better in Kamen Rider Kabuto. Ah well. Maybe I’ll do a doujinshi someday starring the Hoppers.

Anyway, if you’ve ever wondered what the hell a Kamen Rider is, this is a pretty good introduction.

    Firt time comment, but been reading for a while, nice work.

    I’ve been wanting to get in to Kamen Rider, and am wondering if you could recommend a good “entry serie” out of all of them.

    As for intro Kamen Rider shows, I started with Faiz mostly because it was something I easily had access to. TV-Nihon does a lot of Kamen Rider fansubs. I think Faiz is a decent one to start with because it’s a good mix of drama, humor, some Romeo and Juliet stuff going on, and awesome Rider action!

    Blade is also pretty good. Hibiki is a bit weird as Rider shows go. Den-O is super cheesy. Kiva has a lot of time shifting which threw me off a bit. Ryuki has an awful lot of Riders and was the basis for Kamen Rider Dragon Knight which was the American Rider show that we got last year.

    Actually, if you’re a fan of detective mysteries, the current rider series Kamen Rider W (also known as Kamen Rider Double) is excellent and is turning out to be one of my favorite series.

    Hmm… this is starting to not be so helpful. I think Faiz and Blade are really good entry series. Kabuto is one of my favorites. Decade is also fun, but it’s very referential to all the other Kamen Rider shows so you might not get all the references. The current series W is a whole lot of fun.

    Some many many Kamen Riders, a lot of catching up to do >.<.
