Dress For Success

Sad but true. If you wear a Rider Guevara t-shirt to work, you probably won’t get terribly far up the corporate ladder. Well, unless you work a completely awesome place.

Does this actually shirt exist? And where can I get one?!

  • http://ypcomic.com Jamie

Not yet. If there are enough requests, I might just make one. I made one a while ago through one of those online on-demand sites. I bought one for myself and that was the only that sold. But I’ve always wanted a proper screen printing of it so who knows.

Wearing it to work seems ill advised. At least class it up with a vest!

  • http://ypcomic.com Jamie

But can a mere vest contain the awesomeness of Kamen Rider Guevara?

  • Noah

I feel your pain. I once lost a promotion for being funnier than the other guy. Or less professional, depending on who you believe.

You know, the first thing I thought after strip one is that I would probably wear one of those shirts. Oh sure, I’m not a big fan of Kamen Rider or Guevara… but there’s just something AWESOME about that design!

If you ever feel like doing it as a shirt… I know a guy!

    (Yes I’m referring to me).

  • http://ypcomic.com Jamie

OMG Shawn! I will totally be emailing you soon. I’ve got it all vectored out on a machine around here somewhere! The evil monkeys, they plot…

  • Nate

Guevara was a terrible person. I’m not sure why more people haven’t caught on to that. Sad, really. But the shirt design is catchy.

  • http://ypcomic.com Jamie

@Nate, that’s certainly true. It’s interesting to see how ubiquitous that high-contrast image of Che has become. Target has used his face as a pattern for some of their youth-targeted lines. His face has sort of become this pop cultural phenomenon completely divorced from who he was as a person.

Really, I saw Penny Arcade’s Miyamoto shirt and I thought it’d be funny to see a Kamen Rider version.

  • Nate

    True, it is funny.
